Bayley is a 21 year old mechanical engineering student, at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. He transferred from Texas State University to UNCC in 2018, to pursue his lifelong dream of driving race cars. While pursuing that dream, he plans to better prepare myself for his future with a degree in mechanical engineering and is currently working part time for a Monster Energy Cup team.
Bayley began racing fourteen years ago (in go Karts), when he was only seven years old and has been very fortunate to have had an extremely supportive family. Through his experience he has learned there is a lot of work that goes on, before you ever get to the race track. His dad has always let him know “if you want to drive them, you have to work on them” and Bayley is a firm believer in that. Bayley feels being a big part of the maintenance and setup of the race cars gives him a better understanding of the mechanics of them and that understanding gives him an advantage on the track. He has achieved much success over the past fifteen years. Bayley has amassed over 165 wins and 18 championships, with race wins and championships in every series he has competed in. With the right opportunities, Bayley plans to bring this level of success to the Camping World Truck series and beyond.
